The Coast Mountains School District will be discussing a two-week spring break schedule at their meeting on April 18 in Terrace.

The board held consultations in Kitimat, Terrace and Hazelton asking for input on an adjusted calendar.

Their two options, the other being the standard calendar in place for this year, are similar in most ways — both calendars end school for the year on June 27, and the first day of school is still Sept. 4.

However in the adjusted calendar spring break lasts an extra week, starting on March 18 with students returning to school on April 1.
