Kitimat has beaten its 2011 advance voting numbers.
Over the course of two advance voting days — November 5 and 12 — 695 people have cast their ballots.
That is between 390 cast on the first day, and 305 the second.
In 2011, there were 470 votes cast in total during advanced voting.
When it came to the overall election, in 2011 only 55 per cent of people in Kitimat cast their votes.
That's based on 2,426 votes against 4,421 potential voters in the community.
