The Ice Demons played their first home game of the season hosting the Quesnel Kangaroos.
The Demons got into penalty trouble early on, which led to two goals in the first period for Quesnel from Allesio Tomassetti and Justin Fulton.
The Demons cut the Quesnel’s lead in half in the second period with a goal from Ryan Green (assisted by Derek Wakita and Nathan Craft), but Quesnel regained their two-goal lead and added another on the powerplay (Nick Tomassetti and Justin Fulton) halfway through the third period.
Ryan Green scored his second of the night (asssisted by Wakita and Craft) and a scrum ensued after an illegal check to the head penalty was given to Quesnel.
The Demons made a late push, scoring a powerplay goal by Jordan Goncalves (assisted by Almeida and Booth ), but came up short when they failed to tie the game up with the goalie pulled.
The Demons also travelled to Williams Lake, where they lost 7-1 to Quesnel on Saturday night and lost 8-2 to Williams Lake on Sunday.
