Kitimat ladies golf tournament fields nearly 110 golfers

Overall low gross winners from Smithers and Houston

Under cool and wet conditions 96 ladies from Houston, Smithers, Terrace, Prince Rupert, Campbell River, Victoria and Kitimat competed in the Kitimat ladies golf annual golf tournament from July 29 to 30.

Overall low gross winners from Smithers and Houston with a two-day score of 142 were Janie Olson, Shannon Malbeuf, Kathy Wardrop and Maryn Williams.

Overall low net winners from Terrace with a score of 80.5 were Miranda Smith, Kim MacDougall, Ann Maher and Jocelyn Galloway.

1st low gross winners; scoring 145 from Kitimat and Victoria, Christine Henning, Michelle McMenamon, Anna Krause and Mary Murphy.

1st low net winners; 86.5 from Smithers, Janice Malkow, Peggi McCleary, Vida Carson and Robin Malkow.

2nd low net winners; 93 from Kitimat, Murielle Gaudet, Lillian Sanders, Vivian Ringham and Donna McMenamon.

3rd low net winners; 96.5 from Smithers, Fran Fraser, Coranne Dohler, Vivian Brooks and Sandy Doore.

Closest to the pin over two days were Melissa Baker and Lori Ann Seppala from Kitimat, Miranda Smith from Terrace, and Marlene Silveira and Sharon Bruno from Kitimat.

Accuracy drive winners over two days were Ann Maher (Terrace), Fran Fraser (Smithers), Ellen Smith (Terrace), Carol Cresswell and Chris Giraldi from Kitimat, Robin Malkow (Smithers), and Jasmine Medeiros (2) from Kitimat.

Closest to 150 marker on hole #2 was Marlena Silveira (Kitimat) and Marilyn Earl (Terrace).
